Maex Ament. Serial FinTech entrepreneur, Markus Ament, or Maex as he is known, has led many companies from early-stage startups to global leaders, used and loved by thousands worldwide.
He is currently CEO and co-founder of Centrifuge, with the mission to create an operating system for the financial supply chain to fundamentally change how businesses transact and collaborate.
Maex is co-founder and member of the board of Taulia, and has transformed the company from an idea in 2009 to the market-leading Financial Supply Chain company, connecting businesses to create a more efficient and profitable supply chain. With an enviable list of the of Fortune 500 clients and over 300 employees, Taulia has quickly become the recognized leader in the financial supply chain.
Maex began his FinTech career working for SAP, developing and deploying payment and banking solutions in the SAP financials market. Maex also acts as an angel investor and mentor for various startups.

 

Christian di Giorgio hat ein besonderes Talent: Er überführt zielgerichtet Business-Anforderungen in digitale Lösungen. Als studierter Informatiker und Betriebswirt kennt er beide Welten. In den letzten zwei Jahrzehnten gestaltete er funktionstüchtige ICT-Architekturen für komplexe Herausforderungen in der IT. Nach seiner Karriere bei IBM und Swisscom begleitet er heute bei der Inacta Grossunternehmen und Start-ups im Krypto-Valley als Blockchain-Berater. Kunden schätzen Christians IT-Expertise und -Erfahrung, insbesondere auch bei den Herausforderungen, Blockchain-Applikationen in bestehende IT-Landschaften zu integrieren. Er ist Koautor des Buches «Live aus dem Krypto-Valley».

 

Sarah Jungo ist seit 2008 als Rechtsanwältin beim Eidgenössischen Finanzdepartement EFD im Bereich der Finanzmarktregulierung tätig, seit 2016 beim Rechtsdienst des Staatssekretariats für internationale Finanzfragen SIF. Sie betreut unter anderem Gesetzgebungs- und Verordnungsprojekte in den Bereichen Fintech und Finanzmarktinfrastrukturen. Sie war massgeblich beteiligt an der Ausarbeitung des Finanzmarktinfrastrukturgesetzes (FinfraG) und der dazugehörigen Bundesratsverordnung (FinfraV) und befasst sich regelmässig mit Fragen im Zusammenhang mit der institutionellen Ausgestaltung und den Aufgaben der Finanzmarktaufsichtsbehörde FINMA.

 

Martin Liebi has almost 20 years of work experience in the areas of private banking, asset management, capital markets, and investment banking. He has worked for leading U.S. and Swiss law firms.
He advises banks, securities dealers, financial market infrastructures, and other financial market participants on all matters related to financial market regulation, financial products, contracts, and other documentation with a focus on trading and financial market infrastructure topics such as MiFID II, FinfraG, SFTR, MAR, PSD, and others. Martin is also involved in M&A, restructurings, IPO, share & bond placements. He plans and leads also large scale regulatory change and compliance alignment projects. Digital Banking/Fintech especially related to payment systems and financial market infrastructures is a growing part of his practice. One of his key focus areas is accompanying banks and investment firms active in the blockchain space in their licensing processes.
Martin holds a Master in General Management from Harvard University (MSc.), a Master in Law from Stanford University (LL.M.), a PhD in Law from the University of Zurich (Dr.iur.), and a Master in Law from the University of Fribourg (Lic.iur.). Martin is also a CAIA-Chartholder and admitted to the bars in Zurich and New York.
Martin is lecturer in capital markets law at the University of Zurich’s LL.M. program in Banking and Finance and a judge at the commercial court of Zurich (Banking/M&A/Capital Markets).

 

Armin Schmid joined Bitcoin Suisse in April 2018 as Head Strategic Projects. In July 2018, he became CEO of the newly founded Swiss Crypto Tokens AG. Armin has a broad range of experience, based on leading positions in multi-national companies working mainly in the areas of business / corporate development and product management in the online & payment industry. Prior to working for Bitcoin Suisse, Armin worked for SIX Payment Services in multiple roles as Program Manager for PSD2, TWINT and Paymit; prior to SIX, Armin was General Manager for PayPal in Switzerland and Austria and led eBay’s Strategy & Expansion in Europe. Armin holds a Master-Degree in Materials-Engineering (Diplom-Ingenieur) from ETH Zurich and an MBA from University of St. Gallen.

 

Tom Sprenger (Dr. sc. techn. ETH, Dipl. Inf.-Ing. ETH) ist Chief Technology Officer (CTO) und Mitglied der Geschäftsleitung von AdNovum. Tom hat mehr als 18 Jahre Erfahrung im ICT-Sektor, sowohl in den USA als auch in Europa. Während seiner Zeit bei AdNovum hatte er verschiedene Execuitve-Positionen inne. Im Jahr 2002 wurde er zum CEO der AdNovum Software Inc. in San Mateo (USA), 2007 zum CIO der AdNovum-Gruppe und anfangs 2013 zum CTO der AdNovum-Gruppe ernannt. Als CTO spielt er eine entscheidende Rolle bei der Definition und Steuerung der Technologie- und Portfoliostrategie der AdNovum. Zudem unterstützt er Kunden bei der Entwicklung zukunftsweisender Technologiestrategien sowie der Integration neuer Technologien in ihr Unternehmen. Tom ist Mitinitiator des KTI-Projekts Blockchain Car Dossier.

 

Philipp Vonmoos joined Swiss Crypto Vault AG in December 2017. He joined from Falcon Private Bank (first bank with crypto assets offering), where he managed M&A projects and business development activities in Fintech and crypto space. Before joining Falcon, he worked for 7 years for UBS Investment Bank managing M&A and IPO transactions. Philipp holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration as well as a master’s degree in banking and finance from the University of St. Gallen.
